VBS is over :(

We had the most incredibly amazingly wonderful week of VBS ever this year!!! All the kids seemed to learn, grow, have a wonderful time, and they all wanted to come back next year! In fact, Curtis (one of the little boys) said that VBS goes by too quickly and we should do one that is two weeks long next year. I can't disagree that it goes by too fast... Joe (my cuz) mentioned on Thursday that it felt like Monday was yesterday. And Samantha (one little girl) gave me a big hug the last day and said, "I'm gonna miss you!" I replied that I would miss her too and she said, "Do you wanna come to my place sometime?" TOO cute! Then the twins, Sam and Annie, readily agreed to come back next year. It was a wonderful time.
Anyway, now that it's all over, we should start planning for next year :) But I also have to acknowledge some very important people whom I don't know what I would have done without.
~ Miss Awissa Fung: Thank you so much for your kind spirit, loving nature, phsyco acting skills (meaning that you can act like a crazy person!) and your willingness to speak to the kids about those missionaries. You have a beautiful heart.
~ Miss Anne Rendle: Thank you for being faithful and helpful, for playing the violin exceptionally, for your amazing skills acting out Dan in the skit, and for teaching about some missionaries. It was so wonderful to have you as an another addition to our team! It was sooo wonderful to have you and your sibs and I hope you'll come next year!!!
~ Grandma and Grandpa Doane: Thank you guys for making that awesome elephant for decorations, and for letting us have the VBS that special spot in the back! Grandma Bonnie: thank you for inspiring us that first year to do the VBS. It's turned into a tradition! Grandpa Ken: Thanks so much for making that special clearing for us down there!! It's perfect!!!!!!!!! I love you guys
~ Miss Eugene Fung: (Her name's not really Eugene by the way, that's just one aspect of her fun personality, probably one of the reasons the kids love her :) Thank you for your creativity and generosity! Thanks for making those great shirts, and a special thank you for designing our website! I love you!
~ Mama: Thank you for your prayers and for getting our special snacks!! The kids LOVED theme!!!!!!!!
~ Miss Kristin Yamashita: Thank that, although you were so busy, you still were able to come Friday. I LOVED seeing you!!
~ A SPECIAL thank you to Miss Haley Kovach: YOU ARE THE BEST, GIRLIE!!! I love you so much!! Thank you for always knowing what needed to be done, for leading the singing, for writing two of our missionary stories, and for everything else you did. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
~ And last, but DEFINITELY not least, thank you to the LORD of all creation. Father in Heaven, thank you for blessing us with the means and the opportunity to teach those children your word. Thank you for everything you did to make it possible! Thank you for blessing me with the students and helpers. I love You most of all!

And thank you all for your prayers. May the LORD bless you.

I hope next year is even better and that the children will see GOD'S power more clearly.

To God be the glory!

You almost made me start tearing up there :) Especially since I felt I really wasn't that great of a leader... but I love you too and- well, that's about it! Except that I can't wait for next year now!

Love always, Haley
